Fundraising, to date, has been from local residents and a former Prime Minister, whose house backed onto the gardens. Local residents have also generously donated many plants and trees, and one has donated a Barton bench in memory of his beloved dog.

 

Islington Greenspace has been very supportive: it has provided many tonnes of compost, sand, grass fertiliser and special grass seed for London clay soil, as well as  another Barton bench.
